Mandatory Documents

Before you apply, first gather all mandatory documents.

Documents Required for Rental Assistance or Community Housing:

1. Photo ID for all household members 18 years or older,
2. Status in Canada:
   • Birth Certificate,
   • Passport,
   • Permanent Residency Card,
   • Status Card.
3. Alberta Health Card for any minors (under 18),
4. Notice of Assessment for everyone over the age of 22,
5. 90-day bank statements for all accounts,
6. If applicable, please also include:
   • Lease/Tenancy Agreement (if currently renting),
   • Post-secondary enrollment documents and class schedule,
   • Property assessment and mortgage documents noting outstanding principal.
