Tenant Handbook

Our Tenant Handbook outlines the roles and responsibilities of both the tenant and landlord according to the lease agreement and tenancy act. It also outlines what is considered normal maintenance and what could incur additional charges for tenants. Please review this handbook carefully.

Tenant Benefits

Did you know that, as a tenant of WBH, you are entitled to certain perks? Here are a few:

  •  Mark’s Work Wearhouse Discount – WBH tenants get a 10% discount at all Fort McMurray Mark’s Work Wearhouse stores. Get your discount card by contacting us.
  • Seniors Discount – WBH offers all seniors 65 and older a 10% discount on our market rental rates (does not apply to subsidy clients).
  • Access to rental space for functions/events – WBH tenants can rent one of our common rooms at Stony Mountain 115A or 115B (Riverstone Ridge) for special events and occasions. For information on cost to rent and availability please contact us.
  • Tenants can also rent the Meadow Creek Clubhouse (Timberlea) through the Condo Association by calling 780-750-0085
Tenant Referral Program

At WBH we believe our best ambassadors are our tenants. Who better to let the people of this region know what we have to offer than the people who have already chosen to live with us? So, we want to thank our tenants who refer their family and friends by introducing a Tenant Referral Program.

Refer someone to live with us and, if that person signs a one-year lease, you will receive the equivalent of half a month’s rent credit applied to your account for every new tenant you refer.

  • Referring tenant must be a current tenant and have an account in good standing to be eligible for the program.
  • Referring tenant must be listed on the new application at the time of signing.
  • The new tenant must sign a one-year lease.
  • A limit of 12 referrals per year, per lease agreement.
